Entry 10: Wrap-up. Outcomes of the Course



So, we are now at the end of the course ICT. The aim of this course was give us useful information, increase our knowledge from ICT.
To be honest my knowledge was increased much more. I learned very serviceable awareness from this course. There are so many resources that will teach us for learning other languages which I have never used before starting this course. Also I have never heard about www.Portfoliogen.com, www.Blogger.com and also www.Animaker.com.  But now I get information about such kind of resources adequately. And of course I should mention that our consciousness from  Learning Language Sites, Distance Learning, Search Engines, Wiki become larger.
It's true that we can't imagine our life without internet and IT. Because they made our daily life easier. We can find any information which interesting for us. And it's important that we should use this stuff only for profitable purposes.

Entry 9: Pros and cons of different social media applications.


As we know there are many social media applications around the world: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube and etc. They are almost being a part of our life.
Of course everything has its plus and minus sites. Their pros are: a) low cost and effective-  Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn are all free to join and use them.
 b) have a chance of increasing your audience or friends from different parts of the world because of huge potential audience.
c) there is opportunity  to found everything you need- by using Google or Yahoo...
Their cons are: a)with social media the rules constantly changing-  the algorithm used by Facebook, the length of tweets or user interface in LinkedIn etc.
b) you can't rule your time when using social media applications. I mean we can lost control of time management.
c) being addicted. It's clearly that nowadays people always swim in social media applications. They can't imagine their life without them like me🤭.

Entry 8: How useful/ effective are online self-assessment tests.


In my thinking self-assessment involves us in evaluating our work and learning progress.  During the lesson from ICT we checked our skills degree through some online tests. Thus are very useful and effective for all students and applicants in order to save their time and to know their level quickly.  Almost all students and applicants prefer online self-assessment test than offline one. Nowadays teachers also prefer using thus methods in order that check their students'  or applicants' knowledge.

Entry 7: The best project I made/ Presentation I made

Ok, now  I want to tell you about project works which we made during the lessons. Our teachers give us variously interesting projects each month: Taking interview from turists, Shoting a video about System of the Education, Creating best " Dream City" and etc.     
One of the best project works from our studying life😊


And of course thus always increase our knowledge in different ways. Also we learned making a cartoon with the help of  www.Animaker.com program which our teacher introduced in the  ICT lesson. You can also use this site and make your cartoons for pupils or students to learn new languages.

Entry 6: My test taking strategies.





I think every person has own test taking strategies that follows every time to them. It could be learning without any relaxation or hard reading in order to get best marks. In my opinion the best way would be preparing frankly and follow some instructions. Such as repeating each weekly tasks, learn by heart some rules this subjects which you are learning, having a rest in time.
If I tell you the truth that I always be nervous while taking a tests. So that I follow my own strategies. I will repeat all rules that I learnt before. And of course before the day of exam I absolutely don't read anything. I will give my brain rest. I will listen my favourite songs, walk in the gardens, go to parks and just having a good time. Some more in the day of exam I will eat bananas and dark chocolate. It gives me energy😁🤭😉.

Entry 5: Critical analysis of online language learning resources.



Nowadays online language learning has become the most popular in the education system. Almost all student learning new languages with the help of online language learning resources. There are many types of such kind of applications that very useful and save your time and money. In our ICT lesson, our teacher introduced us this kind of resources: Duolingo, Memrise, Busuu, Mango, Nativelang, Speak7 and etc.


And also there are even video lessons, where  teachers properly explain to you new themes related to learning languages.  There are so many upsides of online learning but still we can come across some problems. We can count them downsides of online language learning. Because nobody can check in online courses and explain deeply if you can't understand something.

Entry 4: Am I slow or a fast reader ( Based on internet offered tests results)

This was a unexpected question for me. Because I never interested such kind of experiences. But after reading the question about speed of reading, it was really interesting for me. So that I checked my speed from websites based on internet. Now I know about my speed.

But still it is far from the real situation. It is important that to understand the meaning of the text which you read. Sometimes we read fast without comprehending the meaning. In that case we needn't read fast. Therefore our purpose of the reading something is discover something new for us or enlarge  our world outlook. If you are good reader you can read fast togetherness catch up the meaning of the text.
